Google Buzz: Is it a Logical Choice for the Social Web? | Affinity Consulting Group

What’s all the buzz is about?

Well? google buzz hehe

So many questions, will this destroy facebook?

Is this the ultimate dating app? ( as some people sudjested that I found using buzzes near me)

We’ll live and see, but the war has just begun, because I hear facebook is going to release a mail service based on all the users it currently has.

Somehow btw, I haven’t connected my blog to Buzz, and it knew it was mine and posted the last post in my blog via Buzz!! So weird! I didn’t even gave it permission to do so!

Anyway, read more here, I just wanted too see if Buzz will update my status with this Post.

Nexus One came out, Kudos Gooogle.

It’s suppose to be the iPhone killer everybody talks about.

A cell phone which is very fast, very slick in design, interface should be awesome and so on and so forth.

Yeah I get it, direct integration with google services, all nice and fun.

But, it’s website, well it just looks like someone @ google forgot to make it, and they did it in 1 day.

Google, a corporation to whom a user interface is at most importance, the innovators and inventors of game-changing interfaces eg: gMail, gWave, etc, show you their new awesome phone, with flash video.

You have interaction of course, you can click buttons, but only the first ones, after that, everything is video, and not that good a video at that, too fast for my account, I could barely keep up with it.

In comparison to google , Nokia decided to do it properly.

I am of course talking about the NokiaN97 simulator I built a while back in the summer.

We manage to build all the gfx, and interface in a week’s time. All work and no sleep of course, but I mean, it’s a tiny company. in Total we had 4 people working on it.

I could bet that google had twise as many people, thrice as talented as we are, and…well it’s just sad in comparison.

Plus you can see the endgadget nexus on introduction m which is a very cool demonstration of how successfully the nexus crashes while trying to change totally useless video backgrounds

My first blog post with the iPhone

iPhone, iPhone and again iPhone
I just love this thing, as much as I hate apple, this is the best phone out there, what’s more, my old phone kind of was telling me to buy an iPhone.
It got stuck and turned itself off too many times for me being comfortable with it.

I installed a bunch of applications naturally and I have to say, they make my life easier already
Even the smallest thing like syncing my contacts! Was very hard with my old phone.
BTW this whole post was written using the iPhones keyboard and with the help of it’s autocorrection with is freacking me out how good it is!!!!
it’d like it’s reading my mind and puts stuff there that I wanted to type! Cudos steve jobs. Cudos

Windows 7 on Aspire One 150 installed with USB – a little how to

I have finally managed to get some time in order to complete this.

I’ve installed the RC of windows 7 32bit on my little netbook. And I must say, it’s wonderful.

The netbook doesn’t seem to have any problems with the Aero theme nor with several application running and behaves beautifully

Steps to transfer iso to bootable usb:

  1. backup all of you files on the disk-on-key. (this is optional but very very necessary)
  2. Format your thumb drive with Hp format utility (download link) – choose NTFS partition for faster installing.
This step is key, because HP formats the drive with bootable options, windows formatter DOES NOT
  3. Find your win7 ISO, and extract it’s contents to a folder. You can use a wide variety of tools for this (7zip,winrar,another method)
  4. VERY IMPORTANT STEP : Change the file “bootmgr” to “NTLDR”
  5. Your USB is now BOOTABLE !!! enjoy.
